A perfect location
We are ideally placed to offer an exciting package of water sports for your school or group. We are registered with ALLA and are licensed to provide adventure activities to children. All our instructors are either RYA or BCU qualified and are fully CRB checked.
A variety of sports
With our exciting variety of water sports, we are sure to excite, we can offer lessons in….
Sailing
Taking to the water in no time, your group will use various types of boats depending on their size, age, and experience. After a talk about the technique the students will be shown how to sail by one of our instructors. Offering an instant sense of achievement, it’s a real morale boost.
Raft-building
A hugely popular option, Raft-building encourages your group to work together to build a raft using the parts provided. The finished raft will safely transport them around the lake.
Students will be split into two competing teams and there will be various races and challenges along the course.
Katakanu
Along with Rafting, Katakanu is an amazing team-building activity. The Katakanu's are very stable, that can seat up to 6 students. We have two Katakanu's so racing can be great fun and can provide an excellent climax to the day’s session.
Kayaking
Your group will begin by learning the correct way to hold the paddle and different paddling techniques. Once they have mastered the art of going forwards, backwards and turning, we progress onto games with the canoes, such as making a raft with canoes.
Pedalo Sessions
Taking to the water to build on coordination and teamwork skills your group will use our state-of-the-art pedalos in teams of 4 to navigate their way around the lake. This fun experience is always a great hit with students of all ages. The session will build on teamwork and coordination skills.
